We installed a new Ameristar rooftop package unit for a Las Vegas property, replacing outdated equipment and delivering a modern, efficient HVAC solution. The system came complete with a Honeywell T1 Pro thermostat, full electrical upgrades, and ductwork sealing. Clear skies and rooftop access made this a smooth install with great views.
This commercial unit was due for replacement. The older system was inefficient and couldn’t keep up with demand, especially during peak heat. We found worn wiring, outdated fuses, and a lack of proper surge protection. The client also wanted a digital thermostat upgrade for easier control.
We installed a 2 Ton RunTru by Trane 13.4 SEER Heat Pump Package Unit, complete with:
A new Honeywell T1 Pro Non-Programmable Thermostat
A full electrical upgrade, including new time-delay fuses, disconnect box, and wire terminations
New PVC drain lines, refrigerant caps, and sealed waterproof conduit
System commissioning with nitrogen brazing, leak testing, and charge to superheat specs
Cleanup, haul-away, and full city permit/inspection handling
The new unit is running strong with balanced airflow, proper cooling/heating cycles, and full protection in place. The thermostat is easy to read and operate, and the client now has peace of mind with a 10-Year Manufacturer and Labor Warranty, plus a year of Bob’s Family Plan included.
