HVAC Installation – RunTru 4 Ton Split System in Henderson

Our team recently completed a full HVAC installation in Henderson, upgrading a residential system to a 4-ton RunTru by Trane split system. The install included a new energy-efficient condenser, multi-position cooling coil, and an 80% efficiency furnace, designed to provide reliable, long-term performance for the home’s cooling and heating needs.

What We Found

The existing system had reached the end of its service life and could no longer keep up with cooling demands. The attic air handler showed signs of inefficiency, and the outdoor unit lacked modern energy-saving features. After reviewing the options, the homeowner decided to move forward with a full-system replacement to improve comfort, efficiency, and reliability.

How We Fixed It

We removed and hauled away the old equipment and installed a 4-ton RunTru split system rated at 14.3 SEER2. The project included a new condenser with proper refrigerant line flushing, nitrogen-purged brazing, and a full evacuation down to 30 microns. We installed a RunTru furnace with a horizontal cased coil, added a sediment trap on the gas line, completed a bubble leak check, and verified flue vent clearances. All ductwork was sealed, and drain lines were secured with P-traps and overflow protection. The attic equipment was suspended and leveled, and a smart Ecobee Lite thermostat was installed for efficient, adaptive comfort control.

🚀 The Result

The new system is now operating efficiently and quietly, with excellent airflow and full cooling performance throughout the home. Refrigerant charge was verified by subcooling, and a final inspection confirmed correct voltage, gas safety, static pressure, and system startup. The homeowner now enjoys a modern comfort system backed by a 10-year parts and labor warranty and complimentary maintenance through Bob’s Family Plan.
